The Philips Respironics ComfortGel Blue Nasal CPAP mask is the next generation of the original ComfortGel Nasal CPAP mask. The ComfortGel Blue offers the best characteristics of the original ComfortGel and adds several enhancements. An improved premium forehead pad reduces pressure on the forehead. A shorter more compact tube connection and a much smaller profile mask frame make the ComfortGel Blue a lighter and less obtrusive nasal CPAP mask. An updated gel technology cushion and silicone comfort flap gives even more comfort and softness. Newly designed exhalation micro ports ensure a quieter operation and redirect air away from you and your bed partner. Respironics has also printed the System One Resistance Control code to the bottom of the cushion. If you connect this mask to a Philips Respironics System One CPAP machine, you can enter this Resistance Control Code and get the best possible exhalation relief and leak adjustments from your machine. The ComfortGel Blue Nasal CPAP mask is great for first time CPAP users or longtime CPAP users. With its intuitive and easy to maintain design, the ComfortGel Blue is sure to quickly become one of your favorite nasal CPAP masks. This mask can be used with any pressure range and with any CPAP or BiPAP machine. The nasal cushions are not interchangeable with the original Philips Respironics ComfortGel Nasal CPAP mask.

Excellent Upgrade
By BigdoginTexas
I have the Respironics RESMED model and use the medium size mask, I asked others who purchased if this would be a compatible replacement and they answered yes - I am happy to report it is. After thinking about it, the only concern about compatibility would or should be if the hose fits the mask input port and the fitting to your size face.
I have been using replacements through medical insurance and Respironics, always getting the same as my very first one, I decided to shop around and see if I could save some $$ and this mask is definitely less expensive to purchase and the one I received had a "Phillips" logo in addition to Respironics.
This mask is absolutely an upgrade to what I have been using over the years, specifically the forehead pad and the "bleed port" where the air not being breathed in is ported out of the mask. This port is centered on the mask with small holes in it instead of open ports on the piece where the hose connects as on the previous masks. This port design is SO much quieter as air exits out with no whistling noise or audible high pressure wind sounds.
Price, quality, comfort, and quietness just makes this a winner, ability to use my existing Gel pads (mask comes with it's own, it is not just the frame minus Gel pads). I definitely recommend this to others who use this style of mask and will purchase others, I upgraded to a new style of mask strap as well although my current ones would also work.

We took a chance this one was right
By melpaco
My husband had been using the one he got through our medical insurance for almost a year with tape wrapped around where the head gear connects to it. It was such a hassle to get a replacement through insurance and I thought I would check amazon for a replacement instead. Glad I did, it was a lot less expensive too! Good quality, came with a replacement cushion and fit's his headgear.
